Somebody asked a question on Teletx sitting in a different state from where student is … general rule of thumb, you must be licensed in BOTH states. State where you sit and provide teletx and also where student is located. BOTH states.

45:49
Can you provide a copy of that letter

01:19:38
SLPs must state modifications made to test materials, administration procedures, or other aspects of an assessment in the interpretation and documentation of the assessment. This may include skills observed by the clinician versus skills reported by others, use of an interpreter/translator, any behaviors that may have impacted performance and interpretation of results, and recommendations for reassessment.

I found this oldie but goodie article earlier this week on Dynamic Assessment - Austin (2010) -- lots of great examples of dynamic assessment procedures - https://pubs.asha.org/doi/10.1044/sbi11.3.80

musical chairs … very interesting Emily.

01:32:24
The verbiage "social distancing" should be modified to "physical distancing" as the terminology affects the outcome and psychology...just a thought since we work with individuals that often have other accompanying medical/psychological conditions

01:34:15
The Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities and Children’s Specialized Hospital have developed a series of resources to help children understand and feel comfortable wearing face masks. 01:34:46
Agreed Jaspreet. Extremely dehumanizing. We are in the business of servicing and being safe. To say to socially distance is almost inappropriate especially since social adverse impact is an eligibility determination factor when looking at triangulated data!

Excellent idea Char :) Engineering home environment is something I have seen parents' appreciate lately :)

01:44:57
When looking at documentation for program placement and environmental codes --- are districts going to get 'dinged' for higher percentages of kids being seen in pull-out settings during this time? We have been told to do almost exclusively pull-out for those students who are in-person to try and decrease cross contamination/germ sharing between classroom cohorts. Maybe this is only a WI state thing? idk
