HI Brooke! Thanks for taking time to share your expertise with us!
This is being recorded and will be posted after the meeting
Will the powerpoint be shared?
We'll see if they'll share - if so, I'll post them in the SIG 12 Community
Is the tele-survey completed by parents or the whole IEP teams?
are you able share the survey with us?
I would be willing to support them, obtaining if they are even available for purchase via download from a website or etc... (if not able to share publicly at no cost etc) …
re:telesurvey or other documentation / intake information
I love how you phrased that question for the family: “What’s a comfortable starting point for you?”
Hillary & Nerissa will generously share their Survey and Power Point
I'll post them in the SIG 12 Community!
If in home service, do the parents purchase the external webcams so you can view the device and the child.
For those of us sheltering in place, it is highly unlikely that parents will purchase additional items plus they are already overwhelmed. I’m looking forward to the bare bone work arounds to make it as easy for parents as possible!
Do you have an example of the consent form that you have parents sign?
Individuals might reach out to their state AT programs. The state AT acts may have devices available for loan.
An example of the form would be great!
FYI-if parents can’t get an extra camera, a cell phone with a camera can be used.
It would be awesome if you would share a couple examples of your paper packets.
Thank you for all the resources!
Please share the link to those packets
We will share all links to resources on the SIG 12 community
Great! Thank you! Such great information so far!
Thank you both for all of this. Are we able to use this material in classes with our grad students?
To gain access to the packets, where can I find the SIG 12 community??
This is the link to asha community website. You can find the communities there, including SIG 12
You will need to be a SIG 12 member to access the community, however if you are not, please let me know
do you have an example list of Must Do-s?
in a windows machine, you can right click on your desk top, go to view and hide everything on desk top (folders/files, etc. Then after you can make them visible again
PowerPoint Built-in live closed captioning in many different languages has worked pretty well
Does anyone have suggestions for supports for Burmese and Karen languages?
are there any features to hide desktop for google chrome
I have students who can help with Vietnamese.
What is the brand of the cell phone stand for that modeling picture?
With emulation, are you switching cables back and forth between devices for screen sharing?
I’’d love some step-by-step instructions, if you have them, re. how to mirror the iPad to the computer screen. You mentioned Airplay and Quicktime.
yes what Cathy said
is that for zoom too?
Bower Tripod, or Clique FIe Max Selfie Stick
You can share your iPad through Airplay with Zoom Screen sharing, as long as they are both on the same Wifi network
have you used reflector for screen sharing from iPad?
Thanks Ryan. I’ll check out Airplay.
Does Airplay work with iPads on PC or only Mac?
for iPad to PC I use apowermirror
do you know of a good screen recording app that can be downloaded?
reflector teacher can have multiple iPad connects and records as well
Bernadette, for screen recording check out Loom it is free right now due to COVID-19
Quicktime on the Mac is built in and can do screen recording
Screencastify is also very good!

For private practitioners, what we are finding is that you need to check with the insurance provider to see if they will cover services. This varies widely, depending on the state, whether or not there is a parity law as well.
